IC certification

IC certification is the abbreviation for Industry Canada, a government agency responsible for certifying electronic and electrical products entering the Canadian market. Similar to the FCC of Midea, IC currently only imposes restrictions on electromagnetic interference. Generally, only EMI is mandatory, and the certification method is the same as FCC. Self verification, compliance, and certification can be used. IC ID: CN (Company Number, up to 6 digits)+UPW (UniqLle Product Number, up to 8 digits) Free application, but must have Canadian representative address information.

Scope of IC certified products:

Its responsible products are roughly divided into: broadcasting and television equipment (NTEK), information technology equipment (NTEK), radio equipment (NTEK), telecommunications equipment (NTEK), engineering and medical equipment, etc.

IC Certification Notice

Wireless products need to apply for IC (ID) wireless IC certification for IC production. If the customer has not filed, the time will be 5 working days longer than usual.

Preparation of certification documents:

1. Product manual;

2. Circuit diagram, PCB diagram.

Certification process:

1. Submit samples, application forms, and relevant materials;

2. Arrange testing;

3. Notify the customer to rectify the issue after testing, and issue a certificate after writing a report;

4. Collect the certificate report with the final payment.
