The EMC testing projects for LED lighting products can currently be divided into electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic sensitivity (EMS). EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) refers to the testing of electromagnetic interference generated by LED lighting products, which may cause a decrease in performance or damage to other things (including equipment, systems, people, and animals and plants). EMS (Electromagnetic Susceptibility) refers to the testing of electromagnetic sensitivity (immunity) of LED lighting products, which tests their ability to resist electromagnetic disturbances such as lightning strikes, ESD electrostatic resistance tests, and ringing waves.
